Christmas Stuff
Today was a pretty busy day. This morning we went to church as usual, Abby and I had children's ministry. After that the church held a cookie reception, and we all had some good-looking cookies. (I only say that because I didn't have any :) After church, me and my family went home and ate lunch, then around 2:00pm the kids and my mom went to Old Town Woodstock square and had one of our friends Chelsea take some picture of us to send to my Grandma. (On my mom's side.) So after that, we went back home and just chilled (literally) for a while, then around 5 we drove over to our favorite restaurant Carrabbas. (prob. Spelled wrong) Every year around Christmas it's my family's tradition to go out to eat somewhere, and since we only go annually, it's really enjoyable. This morning I think I pinched a nerve in my back or something so the entire time we were in the restaurant, it was not enjoyable and I was not comfortable, but God was good and we had WONDERFUL food. The food was REALLY good AND I ate SQUID!!! =O it's really good, and since it was fried you couldn't see what it looked like. =) So after dinner my family and I drove around some neighborhoods in the area to look at Christmas lights (as we do every year) But this year they all stunk. So, instead of looking for the best, we were bad and made fun of the worst. We found it in our very neighborhood. It was simply just a small clump of lights on the house. Pretty random, and really funny. =) After that we all came home, and have been hanging out for a while and now I am going to go to bed.

Virginia
Last week my family and I went to Virginia for Thanksgiving, and we just got back this morning at 1:20 =D We had a really fun time, and I'm so happy we could go.
Thursday/Thanksgiving/race/Virginia day 1:
Thursday started out with my dad running a marathon, and Abby running a half marathon. They both did amazing! After they were finished, we went straight from their race to Virginia. A total of ten hours so we got to our destination at around 10:00pm. Not too bad. While we were in Virginia, we stayed with the Warnecke's, a family that's a long-time friend of ours. After we got to their house, we pretty much just sat around and talked, after a while we went to bed from a long day.
Friday/Black Friday/My Birthday/Virginia day 2:
Friday, My Birthday! I turned 14. We just slept in, and woke up to some wonderfully made pancakes made by Mr. Warnecke. Then after a little relaxing, Abby, Aliya, Shaun Warnecke, and I went to the mall. I was looking for a book at the book store there, but they didn't have it. So, we pretty much just walked around and ran into some people we knew. After a little while we went home, and by then Mrs. Warnecke and my mom were cooking our "Thanksgiving" dinner. even though it was late, we had some delicious ham, rolls, and this potato side thingy. =) After dinner, some other friends of ours the Hermans came over to play games and such. In addition to them Rachel Baures also came because she was on a sort of vacation there too. =D after a long night of playing games, and laughing we finally went to bed, and the Hermans and Rachel went home.
Saturday/Virginia day 3:
Saturday Mr. Warnecke made his famous large breakfast with french toast, and REAL bacon ;) Saturday we sat around as usual and watched some tv. A little later Abby went to our OTHER friends house the Mandls (sp?) She used to do mother's helper for them when they lived in Colorado with us, but when both of us moved she stopped. My mom, Aliya, and Mrs. Warnecke went to the mall to look for some clothes for Joel. While they were gone I got to go play Frisbee-golf with my dad, Joel, and all of the Warnecke boys. And this other guy Benjamin Rhodes. I had a pretty fun time playing, Joel won all 18 holes with a score of 57 (par was 54) and then Mr. Warnecke was in second, and I don't know the rest. =D I came in second to last with 91 points, and BARELY missed Ben, his score was 90. One of the Warneckes Aaron TECHNICALLY came in last, he lost his Frisbee in the water, and then also lost the extra one too. He was a good sport about it though, so he was out of the game at hole 10 or so. After that we all went home and just watched tv. We made a couple of frozen pizzas and just hung out. At nine we watched Elf, and then went to bed at 11 or so.
Sunday/Church/We leave/Virginia day 4:
Sunday we went to church and got to hear a wonderful message from Eric Hughes. After church, we stayed and talked to some of our friends for a little while then went back to the Warnecke's to pack up our stuff. After we left the Warnecke's we went to some OTHER friends of ours the Rhodes, for lunch. =D We had Chinese food which was REALLY good, then we kids just sat in their family room and talked about life while we watched football. =) Around 3:00pm we left their house and started our long journey home. As I said before we didn't get home until around 1:20am so it was a long night.
all in all I had a great time, oh and I hope this post made sense, there was so much to cram into it, it might have been kinda jumbled. =)

Birthday/150
this is my 150th post on my blog!! =D And look what I found that was an old post from two years ago.
Everyone Have a Good Christmas and New year! (I'll try to post some pictures)
=) and very shortly I will be turning 14! whoo-hoo. My parents said that I might be able to apply at Chick-fil-a and Publix on my birthday, but that might not worked out as I hoped. So HOPEFULLY I'll apply the Wednesday AFTER my birthday- Nov 2nd? =) anyways I'm really excited. Although some of my friends are almost 15 now, God has been blessing me for 14 years with fruitful friendships. (as I said before) He's blessed me with great family, great friends, a great church, (great teachers), and most of all great love from him. thank you all for being in my life!

Hi,
Even though there is a small debate whether I should talk about school or not. I am. I am sorta loving school, but on the other hand, I have WAYYYY too much homework, so my days go from 8-5 or later. And sometimes I don't even get finished. It's not that the homework is hard, it's just I have so much of it that it's kinda weighing me down.
Enough complaining, The good part about school, is I get to go to co-op which I do with some of my good friends. I have 3 classes, Spanish, Geography, and Science. I also have English later in the day, but it's not "technically" part of co-op. So yeah, and apart from co-op I am taking Math, Health, History, and Piano.
So altogether I have, Math (Algebra 1), Science (taught by Mrs. Pfaller, Biology), Spanish (spanish 1, taught by Sra. Clark), Geography (taught by Mrs. Walters), History, ( these are all in Mrs. Ganster's class but technically they're separate: Speech, Literature, and Grammar), Piano, and of course Health. Altogether that's 11 Subjects. And I LOVE them all =)
I know you are probably bored by now, but this is just a taste of what I do all of my days, and why I don't post =D Oh, and on Sunday's after church I play tennis with some girls from our church. So I am pretty busy with school.

Vacation
We went to Virgina last Monday to stay with the Rhodes for a short vacation, and got back on Thursday (sorta like a long weekend) It was kinda more like Friday to Sunday. =D We got in Virgina Beach around almost 12, so when we got to where we were staying it was probably 12:30am. So Friday (technically the first day) We just sort of hung out, we went to the mall also, and then later that night the Rhodes had the Warnekes (SP) over for dinner, and we sort of just hung out. (just in case you don't know who any of these people are, they are probably 2 of our closests friends) Saturday, we went to the bay around 1 because we could not go to the beach (no thanks to Hurricane Bill) but nevertheless we had a fun time. After about 1 hour of the bay it started really flash flood poring, so we went back home. At around 7 I think we went to our other close friends the Elguts house to celebrate Aliya's, Benjamin Rhodes, and Cloe batton's 18th birthdays. they're all around the same days in September. after being there the entire night, I was SO tired, so we went home and got to bed. Sunday we went to church, and while we were there, we got to witness Eric Hughes (sp?) becoming senior pastor. After church, we rode home with the Hulmes (Ken Hulme) And we had lunch, and then watched (the filtered Guardian version) =D of P.S I love you. It is the sweetest movie ever, but I cannot recommend it because of the other half that we did not see of the movie that was filtered out =D after that we went home and watched I Am Legend (not everyone agreed this was okay to watch) So SOME of us watched it, while "other" stayed in the kitchen and made ice cream =). after that we went to bed, and Monday we packed up the car, and set off for another 10-11 hour drive (thanks to the doggies) And that was all, I didn't get many pictures, I do have some pictures that I am going to post though, so stay in touch.

lately I've been scared of what might happen to me. I don't know why, but I have a strong feeling that something is wrong. I really don't want it to be true, but God works in marvelous ways, and it could always just be nothing. Please pray that my GI visit goes okay, and that we don't have to go back. So they can do any tests all in the same day as the visit. I've never been to a gastrointestinal specialist before, so I have no idea what they are going to do, or how they are going to react to my pain. Also, thank you all so much for keeping up with me. I don't mean to complain, and that only be the topic of what I speak of, but it's hard to keep off my mind, when it's been so long. And THANK YOU for your prayers. They have truly helped, I believe that God is making me better whether I have to go to the GI specialist or not, and this is giving me hope that it'll go away once and for all. I'm going to post pictures of our room (we just decorated it) but once I find time. We start school the 17th, so I do have a week. Plus we are going to VA beach to top it all off, so I'll have a couple of days where we are off of school. So I'm going to try to get ahead this week =D

keeping you posted
So here is me trying to keep you posted. We went to the doctor.. um Monday I think. Or w/e day I said my mom called. And basically right as my doctor walked in, she said that we need to go to a GI specialist (aka, a gastrointestinal specialist) so that's what we know. I don't think we will go, but if we do go, we are going on August 18th. Only a few days before we leave to go to VA. so please pray nothing is wrong with me, and I can still go to the beach =)

Tuesday marks the 2 month day since I went to the ER for my side hurting, and so far we still have no idea what it is. My mom has a theory of what it could be, so on Monday she is going to call our doctor and ask her about it. please, please pray that it gets better, and out of everything that I trust in God to take care of me. And that I don't have to get surgery =P

10 book, book
Here is a 10 book, book that I made with Abby, Rachel G, and Camille.
We took 10 random books off of our book shelf, and then went to page 56 and wrote down all the first complete sentences on that page to make one big book. So here is mine.
Ahos tree, struck by waves, began to sway and toss violently. "Ma would let her git married to you, shad. But Pa, sometimes pa kin be so good, and then again, he kin be awful strict." "Who shall they blame?" Mazie asked. Quickly he checked the doorway to be sure Ernest was still asleep. "For some it is." I said. The bad guys fell head over heals disasterous on a low-gravity surface like the moon's and all the girls got away while the men were bouncing around trying to get on their feet again. A few seconds later, the window of the captain's room was thrown open, and a man leaned out and shouted that someone had already gotten to the chest. He thought about the troll gaining ground and climed faster. "Angelo" Lord derby repeated the name slowly. At the enterence to an inner court, a student was guestering to Atiyah.
And that was it, how did you like it? Also that was all ten sentances combined to make one story. So try it yourself, and post it on your blog! =D or if you don't have a blog, send it to me =)

Update
I'm only doing this is response to the last post. We honestly know nothing. The lab work came back yesterday and was negative, and Monday they also told us that everything was totally okay.. We don't know what's wrong.
The doctors are going to try to experiment (not on me ;) a little to see what might possibly be wrong. While I was on medicine they prescribed me my body stopped working correctly (or how it should normally work) so I am on a different medicine (go figure) to try to get things back to where they should be.
Right now I am in a lot of pain, but the past couple of days have been close to almost pain free, so I am praying it'll go away. =)
Thank you all for your prayers

My Mystery Diagnosis
okay so I'm just going to start from the start, and try to go slow.
It all happened on Thursday, June 4th, I was just doing whatever and just hanging out with my family. All of a sudden I had this very sharp, very painful pain going through my body. It's kinda hard to explain but it felt like my whole body had gone weak. This only lasted for about 10-12 minutes, so I was able to go downstairs and ask my mom for some ibuprofen (sp?) because of my pain. So she gave me ibuprofen and about 5 minutes later or so I had a VERY sharp pain in my lower left side, which did not go away like the other pain had. I had this at around 10:00pm and by 12:00pm it was still persisting. So my parents both decided that it would be best to find out what was wrong with me, so my mom drove me to the ER at Northside Hospital.
Our wait was very short, and we were almost immediately sent to a room where I could lie down and rest a little. about 10-15 minutes later a doctor came in to ask me why I had come in and to attach an IV to my arm. :P this is defiantly not my favorite, but after she had convinced me to do it =) she took some blood, and then put some pain medication inside of it. after a while they came back, added some Nasia medicine to my IV, and then left. Eventually the results were in for my blood test, and it was negative. SO, because the pain was still there they decided in order to cross out the possibility of having Appendicitis they had to do a CT scan. This would tell them if I did have it. So little did I know I had to drink 2 32oz cups of "shake" aka grossness... or so I call it glow in the dark paint. Basically to my knowledge it helps glow my insides so they can see better then if they were to not have it in my body. The actual CT scan really wasn't that bad. We went back to our room and waited. The CT scan came back and they told me I had an Ovarian Cyst. This was relieving to me to know what it was.
The doctors were VERY nice and told me it would go away on it's own. But about 3 weeks later on the 24th, we noticed that the pain was NOT going away, and apparently Cysts don't hurt until they burst. So there basically was no way that, that could be causing me pain. My dad then decided it would be smart to get an ultrasound to see what was going on. Because of my dad's situation in the medical field, I was able to go to Scottish Rite (where he was working that day, he originally works at Children's Hospital at Egleston) and have him give me an ultrasound. after he had done it he noticed that the cyst was no longer there. In other words in popped, so I would no longer be in pain.. Wrong though, even though the cyst popped I still had pain. So yet again I was in a sticky situation.
The following day (Friday) I went to the doctor to find out once and for all what was wrong with me. The doctors were extremely nice, and told me that it would be best if I got another ultrasound as well as an x-ray. So as well as this, they also gave me some pain medicine to help me through the week, because not even Tylenol or ibuprofen would help with the pain I was having.
Today was the day I was scheduled to have the x-ray and ultrasound. They were pretty much pain free. I got to the Wellstar building where I was going to have them, and only had to wait for about 5 minutes before I had my x-ray. This was quick and easy and almost imediatly I had my ultrasound. This was a little scary for me, because I knew when the lady was going to do it she would have to push where it hurt most with the machine thingy. =) it wasn't as quick as I thought but for some weird reason I sensed that something really was wrong, by the way she looked, and how she mostly focused on two main points, and took pictures mostly of those.
We are supposed to hear back from the doctor as soon as the results are in, and they know if anything is wrong. So all I can say is there are the details for those of you who didn't know what I was going through, and Please, please, pray for me as I go through this pain, as well as waiting to see what's wrong. As well as praying for me to get better.
I will be posting asap as I hear so you guys will be updated. Sorry about the jumble of words. I'm abviously not thinking very well, so I hope you understood that well.

Father's Day
Unfortunately we were gone on father's day until about 9Pm. Because that past week my mom, Joel, Abby, Maggie and I all went to New Smyrna Beach FL to go to the beach. We had a blast! Or at least I did. I do have a LOT of pictures, but I decided to start with something smaller. (picture wise) because let me tell you there is nothing small about how much my dad means to me. I love him so much, and he truly does deserve a day for him as well as many other father's who are supporting families and caring for them. So for him we got him a ipod shuffle, sort of for his birthday and father's day combined, because his birthday is so close to father's day. So to top that off, I made him this, because I didn't feel like it was really a personal gift, since it was from ALL of the kids. So take a look.

Haha, so yes I know, it's not as good as the bakery, but hey, I tried =D

Babysitting
last Saturday I babysat the Rogers, and Hannah had the privilege to stay up with me until 9, so we got to hang out just us two girls. So after the other kids went to bed, we decided we wanted to make a dessert, so we made brownies for the church picnic the following day. I have no idea if they tasted okay or not, so if you had them at the picnic, please tell me if they were gross or not =D thanks.

yes, for once when I was holding a baby, she was laughing. But it kinda looks like she was crying in the picture, so I didn't want any of you who I babysit getting the wrong idea. lol. =D

Horse Back Riding
Okay, so you'll never believe it, but I got to go Horse back riding!!! =) It was SO amazing, I loved is so much I would even go again =D. So I have a few pictures from it, but basically how it went is, we drove to Tennessee like maybe 3 hours or so, and then when we got there we put on our helmets and went riding right away. They ask that you don't take picture when you are riding because you need to have both hands on the reigns, so I didn't get any pictures of the mountains or anything. But I did get some of us on the horses. So enjoy.
