A REAL Post

:) so, If you know what I mean by the title (AKA: Me doing SMALL posts) then this is a change. ;) it is some bad and good news, so sit back in your chair and enjoy!

SO, today my puppy Calvin was taken to the vet by my mom and I for reasons that are too personal for me to say on my blog (Lets just say he couldn't get rid of waste ;) hmmm) anyways, when we took him, we waited a little bit and then the vet saw us. It was an ok start we had to take his temperature or something, and he was crying SO loud I'm sure anyone OUTSIDE of the building could hear. ;) SO, the vet had to take him in the back, and take it there. This also took a while. After talking about all his symptoms, the vet thought he might either have a Urinary Tract (Wrong?) Infection or Bladder stones. For all of you who don't know me, I have previously had a dog (Sparky) which had to be put down by having bladder stones, AND my dog (Not the puppy we took to the vet) Aspen, also was diagnosed with Bladder stones, but because she's a girl, passed them and is now MUCH better. Sadly for the type of dog that all of them have been (Schnoodles or Schanuzers) if you are a boy dog, the chance you pass stones is very
slim. SO back to the story, we thought if it would have been bladder stones, he might not have lived. (Also for all of you who don't know CALVIN, he is only 13 weeks old, and we have only had him for 5 weeks) So this would have been SOOOOOOOO devastating. (Kinda like our other 1 day dog) but that's another story. :) So, after they had done a urine sample test, they figured out that he had a slight urinary tract infection. Which even though is slightly bad, is better than bladder stones. SO, he is now on 5 or so medications, and 4 hours later is happily playing with Apsen. :) So anyways he is better. Please pray though, that this infection gets better, and he doesn't get anything worse than that. :D Thanks!!!

So glad he's doing better! Praying that you don't have any other 'scares'.
